Your steps to a great trip:
STEP 1: Meet virtually to discuss your travel goals
To start planning your trip, we'll meet PERSONALLY BY VIDEO CALL or phone to understand your desired destinations, interests, and travel style. Drawing on our extensive experience guiding tours and assisting travelers, we'll ask detailed questions to capture your preferences.
After the end of your initial consultation, we'll provide you with a very detailed email capturing all your requests in a carefully crafted initial itinerary with dates, cities, sites to visit, seasonal events, accommodations, dining recommendations, potential pitfalls to avoid, etc.
Then (optionally) in Step 2, we'll help you refine your plans in detail, assisting -if you wish- with all necessary reservations and bookings. We can go over and refine these options in as many "Step 2 — Define/Refine" meetings as you wish, elaborating and updating the plans until you are fully ready (this in itself is often as fun as traveling!).

STEP 2: Meet again to refine itinerary drafts - Rinse & repeat.
On this and subsequent optional videocall "Step 2" meetings, we will jointly —you and us— define and refine your initial "Step 1" itinerary in great detail, elaborating on one or more alternate options ("Plan B, C, etc."). Drawing from our experience, we know having alternative plans is good practice - for example, we've recently helped travelers avoid disruptions caused by an unexpected month-long railroad strike in Italy.
Once your travel plans are mostly finalized if you wish we can reach-out, through our local contacts worldwide, and verify the logistics checking the availability of hotels, museum/venue hours, events, exhibits, and other plans and booking the ones you select. This additional research and verification work is labor-intensive but crucial.
After each meeting, we will email you with a written update to your planned itineraries, incorporating all these details.

STEP 3: Meet/choose your personal companion guide. (*)
"Escorted journey with a personal companion guide" is a travel package we offer where a dedicated guide accompanies individuals or groups throughout the entire trip. Our expert companion guides are available in major tourism destinations.
This is a great option for seniors, solo travelers, and groups seeking a smooth, worry-free guided experience and it often costs less than expect. The escorting guide meticulously handles all logistics, including transportation, accommodations, and activities, allowing travelers to relax and fully immerse themselves.
